Traverse, by Edward Bader (1.4 Mb, pdf)

Traverse uses ink drawings created over the past 15 years and re-contextualizes them in a comic book format. The word “traverse” has multiple meanings such as “to pass or move over, along, or through” or “to look over, examine, or consider carefully; review; survey”. Comics with their use of sequential narrative are an ideal format that allows the viewer to experience a narrative that documents the landscapes and mythologies of North Western Alberta.
